Walking With Jesus: Wrapping Up.

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

This Is Our Wrap-Up Session

I hope Small Group 24/25 has been a blessing for you all. Today, as is our custom for the past several years, we spend time in fellowship with one another. We also walk through several prayer points from each of the Bible Study discussions during the season. Thank you to everyone who opened their homes. God will bless you like He did Obed-Edom the Gittite, who hosted the ark of God in his home for three months. Thank you to everyone who participated this year.

We pray that next season, more people will register for small groups and be engaged in the unravelling of the blessings of the Holy Scriptures. It is impossible to be a growing Christian without reading and studying the Word of God in a faith community centered on Christ. While we must do it as individuals, we are called to also engage as a congregation.

“…I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house…”

Acts 20:20 NKJV

We will close the season, as earlier said, with a prayer session.

Wrap Up Prayer Time

Here are seven Prayer points below, selected from all the prayer points and requests from the study and discussion sessions this season. Please note that these are prayer requests derived from the scriptures we have read and discussed.

• Are there any Praise Reports or Prayer Requests to share? Please give thanks for praise reports.
• Please give thanks to the Father for these past months of Small Groups, for all who registered, and for the lessons and discussions we had
• Pray for those who serve as leaders in Joy Fountain and other churches, for strength, wisdom, and spiritual protection from the darts of the evil one, and for the congregation to grow spiritually.
• Commit the coming summer to the Lord. Also, pray for the Canadian election on April 28. Ask the Lord to expose those who may have a hidden agenda, and that His will be done in our country. Please use Psalm 75:7 for this prayer.
• Pray for Joy Fountain church adherents to be established and encouraged in the faith, and that we grow in every way in Jesus Christ.
• Pray that no one is shaken by anything the enemy throws at us and that we may increase in love towards one another.
• Pray that as wickedness increases in the world, the Father will, in His faithfulness, keep us, that His word be glorified, and that we are delivered from unreasonable and wicked men.

Lord, be with us all and give us your peace in every way, always. Amen!
