Part 9 – More on The Holy Spirit I.
Welcome to Part 9 of our small group sessions. We pray that the Lord will impact you with the truth of His word and leave a deposit for His glory.
Today we will discuss More on The Holy Spirit. We can spend the rest of the year talking about the holy Spirit. When we meet God daily it is indeed the Holy Spirit that we come to fellowship with. He is the One on Earth continuing the work of Jesus Christ. He is our comforter and friend.

Guided Discussions.
The Guidance and Help of The Holy Spirit
Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our “Helper.” He would also “guide us into all truth.” He said that The Spirit “will take what is Christ’s and give it to” us as well as “show us things to come.” It is comforting and refreshing to know that we have a solution from our Heavenly Father among other struggles of this world, for the increasing levels of deception in the world today. Do we believe these promises from the Lord Himself about His Spirit? We must remember that if we believe what Jesus said, we will receive what He promised. Moreso if we act on those things we will see results according to His will.
The Holy Spirit Working In Paul
Please read the following scripture passages and pinpoint all the instances where you find The Holy Spirit at work in and through Paul. Discuss and describe what you find and how that applies to you and the local church (us) today.

- How was the Holy Spirit actively at work in each text as a Guide or Helper?
- How is He working in you and us in similar ways today?
- What else do you find inspiring in the scripture verses read?
- What do you think can hinder His guidance or help in our lives?
Part 9 Summary and Conclusion
Jesus was clear about the work of the Holy Spirit. He is our Comforter, Friend, Teacher, Power, etc. Engage Him in conversation often even spontaneously, and see what happens. He will speak to you. Ask Him questions about things you do not know. The Way of Christ is without a doubt more enjoyable and refreshing with the Holy Spirit working in, through, and for us all for the glory of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. He is faithful. In part 10 we will study and discuss how The Holy Spirit “receives what is Christ’s and shows it to” us.
