Jesus The Power of God 6 – Prayer Application
Scripture Reading: (Zechariah 12:10) (John 6:15-16)
Introduction
We have been spending time praying at our small group meetings for the last month. There seems to be a spirit of prayer coming upon our church and that is a good thing. We shall pray for one whole hour again tonight. This time our focus will be upon our new location praying that God moves powerfully in touching lives as we prepare for this next season. This is the year of the Eagle and eagle believers are people of prayer.
Prayer Session
Thanksgiving and Praise 106 Burnett Avenue and 2021 so far: (Psalm 107:1-9):
- Give thanks for 106 Burnett and for what God intends to do there.
- Give thanks for all the gifts in cash and kind that have all brought the project to near completion.
- Praise God for continuous provision for the project. (Philippians 4:19)
- Praise God for the salvation and miraculous encounters will happen to people in person and online.
- Thank God for the year 2021 and for divine protection we have all enjoyed.
Remaining Construction Work at Burnett:
- Pray volunteer help that is needed for flooring and other work remaining.(Psalm 110:3)
- Rebuke all of the enemy’s plans to delay us using the building. (Job 5:12)
- Pray for favour before the city officials as we approach a final inspection. (Psalm 5:12)
- Pray for provision for the outside works such as painting the building this summer and for the grounds in the near future. (Haggai 2:8-9)
Wealth Creation at JFC:
- Declare that God will give us the power to create wealth at JFC through ideas for our members. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
- Declare divine rewards for all those who choose to tithe or give a portion on their income. (Psalm 20:1-3)
- Rebuke the curse of poverty where it may have a stronghold in any lives in JFC in the name of Jesus. (Malachi 3:11)
- Pray that we use our resources wisely and remember the poor as God blesses us. (Proverbs 14:31)
Conclusion
Thank you for taking the time to pray along as a group. Never forget that there is power in community prayer. When we pray together power increases and Angels get to work.
