The Big Comeback (Part 3)
Scripture Reading: (John 11:1-44) (Please read and discuss)
Introduction
As we have continued to emphasize in these studies, people love a good comeback and more so God is in the business of giving comebacks.
Today in the message video clip and scripture reading we learned about the steps to a divine comeback. The Holy Scriptures are overflowing with directions on what we must do to enjoy the blessings that God has promised us. Did you know that a comeback is a promise from God. A verse like “if you return to me, I will return to you” (Zechariah 1.3), suggests that God loves comebacks.
Discussion
Which of the following steps to a comeback below have you found easy and which do you find difficult?
Recognize current realities
Remember and believe that “Every Problem has a Solution” especially when God is involved.

Imagine the picture of a different desired future from the present and “Make that picture your Prayer”
John 11.40-42
Rely on and press into the Grace of God Hebrews 4:16
Pursue your Options
- What instructions has the Lord given you? Do something with the instructions. James 2:14-26
Allow Timing do its work
- Wait for the due season. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
- Prepare for what God has prepared for you
Never say Never
- Declare what you believe. Mark 11:23
Testify. Let others know what God is doing in your life. Matthew 10:32
Conclusion
God is in the comeback business. If we return to Him he promises to return to us.
Prayer
- Declare big comebacks (REVIVAL) for our church JFC and the Churches of Winnipeg despite the pandemic
- Declare personal revival of prayer
- Pray for one another as needed
