Grow Your Faith in God

Scripture Reading: Romans 10:17
Introduction
It is impossible to succeed as a Christian without exercising faith in God. Romans 10:17 teaches that our faith only grows through hearing God’s word. Romans 1:17 says that “the just shall live by faith.” If everything about following Jesus hinges on faith then we must not be stagnant in faith.
How to grow faith in God!
- Create time to devour the scriptures as necessary food.
- Be engaged in public and private fellowship with believers.
- Expose yourself to preaching and teaching of scriptures.
- Curate (read/listen to) stories of those who have gone before us
- Practice what you learn in obedience to the Lord
Discuss the quality of Abraham’s Faith
Read Romans 4:16-25
Describe Abraham’s faith in God as it relates to his circumstance. What lessons can we learn?
