Your Divine Assignment
Scripture Reading: John 3:16, John 20:21-22
Introduction
In December many Christians worldwide celebrate the birth of Jesus who was sent by God as Saviour of mankind. While some believers disagree about celebrating His birth, it is important to note that the scriptures that record events around His birth have an abundance of life lessons and revelation for us today.
Jesus faced a lot of opposition from the enemy and the enemy’s human agents. If the Master, Author and Finisher of our faith faced opposition, we will no doubt face opposition as well. One of the most helpful things for a follower of Jesus is to develop the spiritual strength required to overcome the opposition of the evil one and his minions.
The Assignment and An Assignment.
- “The Assignment” is your life calling and “An Assignment” is a specific responsibility over a specific period of time.
- Satan does not want to see you complete your assignment
- You may be a hindrance to fulfilling your assignment

- Give thanks for God’s grace over us in the year 2019 that is now coming to an end
